Heart Opening: ten prompts
Writing prompts that teach you to talk about yourself: honestly, tangentially, and without rehearsing. The full tool has 108 in four tiers, from things on your desk to the things you will carry to the grave. These ten are the sample.
How it works
You get a simple prompt. You answer it. Then you push your heart open.
A heart push is when you follow a tangent and share something about yourself that you normally wouldn't. The prompt asks about tofu. You write about tofu. Then you remember eating six bowls of yookgaejang and getting sick. That's a push. Then you remember your Spanish coworker's reaction to the hellish red broth. That's another push.
At least 3 heart pushes per prompt. Go on, and on, and on. One sentence is not an answer here; a page is closer.
Decide the time. Before each prompt, pick how long you'll write: 5, 15, or 30 minutes. The next prompt opens when the time is up.
Your writing saves on this device. One prompt a day works, or all ten in a sitting.
Ten prompts, written.
That's the sample. Talking about yourself gets easier the same way anything does: by doing it on a decided schedule until it stops feeling like a performance.
Ninety-eight more prompts, tier progress, and cloud sync are in the full tool.
