You did not choose what you were handed. You did choose what you built on top of it.
The Karmic Past is the first of the four lines, and the one people get wrong in both directions. This class is about where that line ends and yours begins.
- The full recorded class, 60-90 minutes
- A walkthrough of the line-one Deep Map prompt, done with you
- The research homework: what to go and find out, and where
- Permanent access on any device you sign in on
Sale closes Monday, October 27.
The line people keep getting wrong
Some of what made you was handed over before you could refuse it. Race. Ethnicity. Gender. The language you think in. The region, the country, the religion in the house. You did not pick any of it, and no amount of work on yourself will turn it into something you picked.
And then there is the other thing. As a child, in the dark, knowing almost nothing, you made choices. How to be safe. What to want. Who to be around certain kinds of people. Those choices were shaped by the inheritance, deeply; but they are still yours, and that is why they can move.
Hand the whole thing to the inheritance. Nothing is yours, so nothing can change; the line keeps running and you call that honesty.
Take the blame for all of it. Carry what was handed to you as a personal failure, and spend years working on something that was never a choice.
Both of them keep you editing the old line. The class is the sorting: what is inheritance, what is choice, and what changes once you can tell them apart.
What is in the class
- 1 Where line one ends The teaching itself: what counts as inherited, what counts as chosen, and the specific places the boundary gets blurred. Worked through with examples rather than definitions.
- 2 The line-one Deep Map prompt, walked through The mapper asks you to write your karmic past. Most people freeze there, or write a paragraph about their parents. This is the prompt done slowly, out loud, so you know what a real answer looks like before you write yours.
- 3 Homework that points outward Not journalling, not more introspection. Go and find out: trace the family line as far back as anyone alive can take you, read the history of the country and the region you came from, look into what your first language does to thought. The inherited line is a matter of record, and you can go read the record.
Who this is for
- You were in the free class, or you did the map. You saw the four lines. Line one is the one you could not finish, or finished too fast.
- You keep arguing with your own history. Either it explains everything or it explains nothing, and neither reading has ever changed a single day.
- You want the thinking before the commitment. This is $25 and an hour and a half, held by you alone. Nobody checks on you.
Where this sits
- FreeThe Four Lines map and the class replay: see your lines.
- $25This class: understand where the inheritance ends and you begin.
- $100The Timelines founding cohort, Saturday November 14: make the crossing, and be held to it for thirty days.
This class is not a preview of the cohort, and the cohort does not repeat it. They are different pieces of the same method.
