The Karmic Past
Where line one ends and line two begins; then the line-one Deep Map prompt, walked through.
This class is for buyers
Sign in with the email you bought with and the class opens here. If you have not bought it yet, it is $25 and yours to keep.
Watch it once through before you touch the homework. The sorting it asks you to do is easier after you have heard the whole thing than it is halfway in.
Your homework
All of it points outward. None of it is journalling. The inherited line is a matter of record, so go and read the record.
- Trace the family line. As far back as anyone still alive can take you. Names, places, what each generation moved away from or toward. Ask the oldest person who will talk to you, and write down what they say rather than what you make of it.
- Read the history of the country and the region. Not the national myth; the century your grandparents lived in. What happened there, to people in their position, in the years they were deciding things.
- Look into the language. The one you thought in first. What it makes easy to say, what it has no word for, what it requires you to mark every time you open your mouth.
Then write line one
The Deep Map on the mapper is where the writing goes. Line one is the first prompt. Do it after the research, not before: what comes out is a different piece of writing.
The crossing itself
This class is the sorting. It does not make you step. The Timelines founding cohort runs live on Saturday, November 14: one Saturday to make the step, thirty days held so you do not slide back. $100, and the room is capped.
